9/11 Commemoration

Marlene Haluszczak, 79, of Carnegie, Pa. joins SS. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church in a 9/11 procession on Sept. 11, 2011 in Carnegie, Pa.  "I watched it yesterday and cried...just like I did the first time" stated Haluszczak while remembering the attack on the Twin Towers in New York City ten years ago.

After a procession around the Holy Virgin Russian Orthodox Church in Carnegie, Pa., parishioners assembled at the church's outdoor shrine on Sept. 11, 2011.  Together, the church goers prayed for victims and survivors of the September 11 attacks, as well as for the healing of the United States after tremendous hardships and heartbreaks.
